Unless you already work in payments you probably won’t have heard of us before. That’s because we work behind the scenes, helping our clients (over 100) offer their customers all of the payments products and services you will be familiar with like ATMs, cards, point of sale transactions, bank-to-bank transfers and mobile payments.

We play an important and growing role in Australia’s financial services industry as a strong and independent payments provider helping our existing clients grow and assisting new companies to enter the Australian market. This increases competition and gives greater choice to businesses and end consumers.

We help companies offer their customers the latest payment innovations. Our clients were among the first to offer Apple Pay and Android Pay to their customers. We are also working alongside the major banks and the RBA to design and build the New Payments Platform (NPP), the revolutionary new real-time payments infrastructure which is due to launch in 2017.

Unlike bigger companies where you can get lost in the machine, Cuscal has a flat structure, diverse work and clients, and a collaborative work environment. Corporate social responsibility

We believe that by working together we can create smarter solutions. This belief lies at the heart of our flourishing Corporate Social Responsibility program, where we collaboratively work to make a meaningful contribution to our community and the broader financial services industry.

Our formal corporate social responsibility policy aligns with our growing and evolving organisation. Right now, we are focused on helping and supporting our employees to give back to our wider community through the following initiatives:

  • Workplace giving. Employees can make regular donations to one of our preferred community partners or a charity of their choice through their pre-tax salary using the Good2Give platform. These contributions are then matched by the company.
  • Corporate volunteering.  We encourage our employees to give their time and skills to help our preferred community partners, or an approved charity of their choice.
  • Through Red25 (a group donation program of the RedCross) we facilitate blood drives.
